Számos helyen találkozhatunk a nyomtató választás fogalmával ([[.objects:COOXMLPrinter]], [[.functions:cor4#print_array|print_array]] stb.)

Ez a választás minden esetben egy szöveges paramétert vár, amelynek a következő értékei lehetnek:

  * def: az alapértelmezett nyomtatóra nyomtat
  * sel: szabványos nyomtatóválasztó felületet kapunk, amellyel kiválaszthatjuk a kívánt nyomtatót
  * print1..print8: a [[cor4app.ini#print|Cor4App.ini]] fájlban beállított értékek alapján kerül beállításra
  * illetve beírható a nyomtató nevének legalább három karakteres kezdete is (pl: ha tudjuk, hogy a kívánt nyomtató Xerox, akkor értékül adhatjuk közvetlenül a "xerox" stringet is)
